Annie Mist Thorisdottir was born in Reykjavik, in Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro athlete. She runs and owns Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she coaches athletes. Annie has the distinction of being only one female who has ever won in the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the both the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity TV personality. She became famous for becoming the first woman who taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012. She is also known for taking home in the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in and brought to Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and other siblings. Since a young age, Annie was an avid sporting fan, and she loved training. She was awarded numerous medals during school competitions. In 2009 she competed in her first CrossFit event in California. Her performance was impressive in those competitions. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (as at 2021). She is 5'7" and she weighs approximately 67kg. Annie started CrossFit in California in the year 2009. She performed well during the first few competitions. Annie was ranked among Top 10 among over 70. But she did not achieve any championships and finished the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen she finished second and took home the silver medal same year. Following a long period of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. The dominating accomplishment was enough to earn her the title. In 2012, Annie also won at the CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman athlete who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. Additionally, she won a medal of silver in 2014 as well as a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was established by Annie.
