Taylor Momsen was born in Saint. Louis in Missouri. She is a famous American actor, model and singer. She is best known for her part as Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows, including How to Be a Single and the show Going the Distance. Taylor Momsen was born on the 26th of July 1993. she has a younger sister Sloane Momsen who is also an actor. The dance school she attended was St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. The actress began her professional acting career when she was three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake and Bake. Momsen's acting career came to a slow halt for three years until she received her first lead role on Misconceptions, a WB show Misconceptions. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh which was a film from 2006. In addition, Momsen was a candidate for the role of lead in Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three but Miley was given the part.
