David Muir (born August 25 1949) is a famous American journalist anchor, reporter and anchor. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. The show is animated and features shocking videos of celeb gossip, his show has become the top-rated news program in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning series. He was the principal substitute anchor of Diane Sawyer's successor Diane Sawyer before taking over ABC World News Tonight. The primetime newscasts to ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint Refugees in America. He has covered news around the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's received numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as honors from the Associated Press.
