Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and has aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina started her career as a writer for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy reports. In the beginning, she found her work interesting and stimulating but eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny speciality store for food named Barefoot Contessa. Before selling the business, she spent 18 years building it into a highly successful store. Many more cookbooks, and magazines columns that were added. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a huge success. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for cooking, to kitchenware and storage. Ina did not go to a cooking academy and has never worked in restaurants. She is self-taught. She is a simple cook and for her entertaining manner. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese made with beef Bourguignon, and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
