Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has been awarded numerous prizes for her writing and design. She has been a vocal advocate for human rights for animals. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). When she was in New York, she was born and brought up in an artistic family. Beginning she began as an assistant in photography. Then, her career shifted to modeling and directing. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide fame as well as several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films, she received the title of top female box-office start worldwide. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography, of hers came out. MacGraw was married three times.
